Posie & the pea
It has been interesting around here lately. The walker & the feeder are constantly talking about the "flew". I wonder what it is that is flying away. When I walk outside, the walker says, "The pigeons flew away. Stop barking!". I scare those mean, old pigeons. I hate pigeons. They try to eat the chicken bones on the sidewalk. I like chicken and I like to eat snacks on my walks. They make me so mad! If any of those pigeons are flewing inside, I can't find them. I've enlisted the best great white hunter (aka Magnolia) to help. She found one pigeon on the windowsill but it "flew" away, too. They also talk about the "piggy flew". Sometimes they call me "piggy" or "piglet". I hope that I'm not going to "flew" anywhere anytime soon. I'm going to keep watch around those pigeons. They may be plotted to "flew" me away somewhere. Sneaky pigeons!
So, in addition to talking about imaginary pigeons, the walker & the feeder are not doing much walking and feeding lately but they are doing lots of nose-blowing and sleeping. I like naps. You can see in this picture, that I've found a new favorite spot to nap. It is hard to get all of the pillows arranged just right.

How to beat the heat...
We walked out to Red Eye Grill this afternoon to get a cold beverage. The rain had stopped and cooled things off a bit but it is still hot! For the walkers out there, be sure to bring water with you on those long walks with your pups! Keep cool, canines.
