Detective Doggie is on the case!
It has been a long time since my last post. I apologize for the delay. I've been undercover here at the doghouse gathering clues in a mystery. Around October, I began to notice the feeder exhibiting strange behavior. She began to eat more which is not the characteristic I look for in a feeder. On top of that, she also began to sleep later. I would not worry about this but for the fact that the walker has been on leave a lot more and the feeder should be picking up the slack. If I get a late walk, I don't get to catch up with my friend, Oscar, because he has to go to work early. She does not take me to the P-A-R-K as much as the walker or the Pa-Park.
I believe the Great White One noticed the changes as well. She let everyone know that she noticed by marking the walker's suitcase & the feeder's couch. She was soon sent on vacation to the Boo Boo & Pa-Park's house. She came back after a week and got her own room for a while. She gets fed in her room so that Miss Pie & Big Lou don't eat her food. She seems well rested now and isn't marking anyone's stuff anymore.
The feeder is still eating a lot. I hope that she doesn't eat my food. She really should go on a diet (See Exhibit A). Those are all the clues that I have for now. Don't worry, I will get to the bottom of this!

Sorry. It is difficult to get a photograph while undercover.

Posie & the pea

It has been interesting around here lately. The walker & the feeder are constantly talking about the "flew". I wonder what it is that is flying away. When I walk outside, the walker says, "The pigeons flew away. Stop barking!". I scare those mean, old pigeons. I hate pigeons. They try to eat the chicken bones on the sidewalk. I like chicken and I like to eat snacks on my walks. They make me so mad! If any of those pigeons are flewing inside, I can't find them. I've enlisted the best great white hunter (aka Magnolia) to help. She found one pigeon on the windowsill but it "flew" away, too. They also talk about the "piggy flew". Sometimes they call me "piggy" or "piglet". I hope that I'm not going to "flew" anywhere anytime soon. I'm going to keep watch around those pigeons. They may be plotted to "flew" me away somewhere. Sneaky pigeons!
So, in addition to talking about imaginary pigeons, the walker & the feeder are not doing much walking and feeding lately but they are doing lots of nose-blowing and sleeping. I like naps. You can see in this picture, that I've found a new favorite spot to nap. It is hard to get all of the pillows arranged just right.

Posie, the author
I have not abandoned you, readers! I have been busy writing a book about my adventures in the Big Easy with my 3 feline sidekicks. It tells the story of how a ready myself to lead the canines of the City in a parade. It is only available for limited distribution (total: 1 book). Maybe I will revise it and make it available for a wider release eventually. Maybe a book tour where I will paw all of the books and dogs will line up just to see me....

The country
Some of you may already know that I been a bit under the weather lately. The vet gave me something that caused an awful sore on my side. The walker claims that this is the reason that I must wear clothes all of the time (for the healing process - no licking!), but I know that the real reason is that he'd like to pick up ladies while walking me. Apparently, it is a well-known fact that ladies like cute, little dogs (like me) in fashionable outfits.Anyway, I decided to abandon the regular walker & feeder and take to the road this weekend. I found really great substitute walkers & feeders with a home in the country! I walked in a real neighborhood and felt the grass in my paws and ran around in the backyard free - leashless!
No vacation is complete without photos! Here is a pic of me and substitute walker, Megan! Aren't we cute?
